PLACEHOLDER. Borrowing its rhythm from the flowering vines of Kalimantan, Kembang Borneo sets open blossom forms against a fine vertical ground. The repeat is deliberately loose, letting the cloth read as pattern at a distance and as detail up close.

Wadimor is carried by retailers and market traders across Indonesia, and by distributors in Malaysia and the Middle East. We do not sell directly from this site. Send us a message and we will point you to the nearest stockist.
Mercerized cloth is printed after weaving, which is what gives those motifs their depth of colour. Jacquard is woven pattern-first, so the design is built into the structure of the cloth and reads the same on both faces. Both are cotton; the choice is about finish rather than quality.
Every Wadimor sarung is woven to one adult size, roughly 115cm by 210cm before it is sewn into a tube. The wrap is adjusted at the waist, so one size genuinely does fit the range it needs to.
Wash separately in cool water for the first few washes, do not use chlorine bleach, and skip the tumble dryer. Iron at a moderate temperature, up to 80°C. The care symbols on every product page say the same thing in shorter form.
The dyes are fixed for everyday wear and washing. Some settling in the first two or three washes is normal and stops there. What does shorten a cloth is drying it in direct sun, so hang it in shade.
